This blue horse grew from my fascination with dream colors and the gentle strangeness that lives in myth. Its body is covered in soft circular dapples that glow like drops of moonlight. The pattern belongs to no specific breed, yet it carries echoes of dappled horses found across Slavic folklore, where shimmering coats often signaled magic, protection, or sudden good luck for the traveler who met them.
I sculpted the form to feel light and slightly unreal, as if the creature had stepped out of a night sky rather than a stable. The long curved neck, the listening ears, and the bright watchful eye give it a quiet presence. The mane ripples in layered waves of blue and silver, a small tribute to the way water and sky share the same color at dusk.
In many cultures, blue animals appear as omens of renewal or gentle shifts in fate. This makes the piece well suited for moments of transition such as the coming Lunar New Year or the winter season when people search for gifts that carry meaning.
